God's Work In Progress- PARTNER WITH US!

Hello friends,

God's Work in Progress is an outreach of the Foundation for Excellence in Faith and Work. It's radio program, also called God's Work in Progress is the voice of the Work-Faith movement. Our vision is to transform the marketplace. We want to be a force for excellent work to Business, Government and Education and excellence in faith for all Christians working within it. By increasing positive influence on these three societal components, we make this fallen world system more effective and more Just. Our premise is this: Saving the world, begins with credibility. Credibility as a Christian is doing a GREAT job, and having a CLEAR demonstrated faith. These are the two outcomes we seek to create in people and organizations, we call it EXCELLENCE- in faith and work.

This a huge topic and I will be writing a lot about it. But here are some beginning comments:

First, know thyself. Determine why you're in business. Why does your busineess exist? How is the world a better place because your business is active and present in it? How would it be worse if your business stopped functioning? Express this succinctly, with the following format- to:_____________________________________________.
Next, what drives your decision-making in your business. What are the non-negotiable beliefs, morals, principles, that you hold earnestly and that which you would be hard-pressed or unwilling to ever compromise? These are the values of your organization. Don't kid yourself here, and don't make the mistake 90% of leaders make: identify the the values you want not the values you actually hold. This is key. Identify your real values.
Once you know these two foundational pillars of your company, you are well on your way. The next step is to find competent people, who already agree with these.
