It's time.
It is time to claim some ground for God.
We each are born free. We have certain inalienable rights- not given by man but by God- which descend or cascade out of our freedom. We rightly form governments with the sole purpose of protecting these rights. But if freedom is not willingly (as opposed to willfully) submitted to the highest possible Good, then freedom is of less and less value. Freedom without righteousness is anarchy. Righteousness without freedom is legalism. Freedom, which is willingly submitted to the greater Good, is empowered, meaningful and significant.
Enterprise, creating a business or working in one, in the buying and selling of goods and services, is an expression of our inalienable freedom. It is also a way to fulfill our obligation to God who created us to work.
As a business or organizational leader or member of an organization- as a Christian- you and I have this moral imperative. We are free- yet- our freedom only works effectively when it is voluntarily submitted (that is freely) to the principles and practices of the Kingdom of God. One of the ways we are to submit ourselves to God is in our daily work.
What I hope to accomplish is to, with you, determine a paradigm and the subsequent practices that flow out of the principles of the Kingdom regarding our work and money- and then form a BODY of business and organizational leaders who are dedicated and willing to take back, the Kingdom of Greed, for Christ.
You can start by reading these posts, and commenting on them- reading other's comments and commenting on them.
I have been making it my task to pursue the overcoming of the Kingdom of Greed and now seek to enlist others. I have learned a great deal and believe others have too. Maybe can share this knowledge and build and strengthen one another and knit this Kingdom together for GOOD.
