Jesus was asked:
34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: ”‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ a 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ b 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
These words of Jesus speak to me regarding how I operate my business. Jesus, here, applies them universally, not situationally. These two truths are the foundation for the rest!
The first one, Love God is the essence of the first four commandments of the ten.
The second, Love your neighbor, is the essence of the other six.
And the entire rest of the Bible is based on the 10 commandments.
Since this is true it must also be true that the LAW- our laws must be based on them also.
And, our Profits, must be as well.

Without a doubt! If profit is not subservient to the First Commandment, "I am the LORD thy God. Thou shalt have no other gods before me," then we will be of all men most miserable and mocked for a faith based on the same as the world - unrighteous mammon.
